I thought I’d just put up a few pics of thing we’ve been doing in the yard.

First off this old tractor tyre over a gum tree I’ve cut back complete with flower garden at the bottom, hanging plants, bird bath and bird feeder.

When we built our initial garden baed we initially thought it was about right, then we thought it was way to big, then as we started planting we realised it is way too small.

We’ve built 4 new ad-hoc garden beds that will eventually be replaced with something more permanent but in the mean time we have more growing space.

At the request of Kelly I’ve made a little outdoor shower, sweet and simple, connects easily to the hose and turns on and off at the tap.

Finally, picking up olives from the ground is so plebeian, instead we set up some shade cloth to easily collect olives. Unfortunately we had to take them down after only a short time due to a little cyclone. But we did get some olives to brine in the meantime.
